Brief Biography:  Timothy Collins Wilson was known for blending razor-sharp observational southern humor with original comedy songs. A frequent guest on The Bob & Tom Show, he also co-wrote Jeff Foxworthy's hit "The Redneck 12 Days of Christmas".

Early Life & Career:
Wilson displayed an early knack for impressions and performing. After majoring in English at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, he initially pursued a career in journalism and music. After his early demo tapes failed to gain traction, he transitioned to stand-up comedy, where he quickly earned a devoted following.

Comedy & Musical Style:
Wilson’s act was celebrated for its storytelling, southern colloquialisms, and musical parodies. Throughout his career, he released over a dozen comedy albums. Some of his most popular comedic singles included:" Garth Brooks Ruined My Life", "The Jeff Gordon Song", and "The Ballad of John Rocker". In addition to his solo work, Wilson was a prolific songwriter for others. He co-wrote Toby Keith's "High Maintenance Woman" and heavily collaborated with artists like Jeff Foxworthy.

Television & Other Media:
Beyond the stage, Wilson made numerous television appearances. His credits include: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CMT's Ron White's Comedy Salute to the Troops, and Showtime's Billy Gardell's: Road Dogs. Outside of the comedy world, Wilson was also an author, co-writing the 2009 book Happy New Year -- Ted with Roger Keiss, which proposed a theory that serial killer Ted Bundy committed unsolved murders in Georgia.
