Brief Biography:
Greg Romero Wilson, widely known as The Greg Wilson, is based in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. He is known for his high-energy, crowd-interactive performances and guest appearances on network television shows.
Stand-Up & Live Performances:
Starting his career in the late 1980s, Wilson gained recognition as a standout performer for the improv troupe Ad-Libs: The Comedy Madhouse. Branching out as a solo act, he became famous for an uninhibited, anything-goes approach heavily driven by crowd-work, heckler management, and sharp improvisation. He has headlined clubs across the country, including major residencies in New York and headlining dates in Las Vegas at the LA Comedy Club at The Strat.
Television & Film Credits:
Beyond the stage, Wilson has built an extensive TV and film resume. He starred in the FOX sitcom Ghosted alongside Craig Robinson and Adam Scott. He has also guest-starred in popular shows such as: Modern Family, Law & Order, Bones, and Hawaii Five-0. He is also a recognizable face on cable television's "clip show" circuit, regularly appearing on TruTV's World's Dumbest..., VH1's The Greatest, and various countdown shows across MTV and E!. He was also a part of the lead cast in the box-office film The Hottie & the Nottie.
The Comedy Institute:
In addition to his touring and acting work, Wilson is the founder of The Comedy Institute, a stand-up comedy workshop program based in Southern California. Through these classes and workshops, he has coached hundreds of aspiring comedians on the art of stagecraft, crowd-work, and working the room.
