Brief Biography:
Jason Sudeikis is recognized for his nine-season run on Saturday Night Live and as the co-creator and titular star of the hit Apple TV+ sports comedy series Ted Lasso.
Improv Roots:
Sudeikis honed his comedic skills in the 1990s. He cut his teeth performing improv with ComedySportz, the Annoyance Theatre, iO Chicago, and The Second City.
Saturday Night Live:
In 2003, Sudeikis was hired as a sketch writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live. By 2005, he transitioned to a cast member, becoming a fixture on the show until his departure in 2013. He is celebrated for his spot-on political impressions—most notably Joe Biden and Mitt Romney—and for his work in absurd recurring sketches like "Two A-Holes" and "What Up With That?".
Film and Television Career:
After leaving SNL, Sudeikis successfully transitioned into a highly recognizable Hollywood leading man. He is well known for his roles in hit comedies such as Horrible Bosses (2011), We're the Millers (2013), and Booksmart (2019). In 2020, Sudeikis co-created and starred as the optimistic, fish-out-of-water soccer coach in the smash hit series Ted Lasso.
