Nicholas Roger Swardson is recognized for his recurring role as the rollerskating gigolo Terry Bernadino in Comedy Central’s Reno 911!, he is also highly recognized for his prolific writing and producing with Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions.
Early Life and Stand-Up Beginnings:
Swardson found his way to stand-up comedy as a young adult after a turbulent high school experience. He quickly built a name for himself locally, winning the "Funniest Person in the Twin Cities" award at the Acme Comedy Co. before catching a break to perform at the U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, at age 23.
Career Breakthroughs:
Swardson's fast, absurd, and high-energy brand of comedy soon caught the attention of Hollywood.
Television: Beyond Reno 911!, he created and starred in his own sketch comedy series, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time, which ran for two seasons on Comedy Central.
