Brief Biography:  Thomas Christopher "Chris" Parnell is best known as a versatile repertory player on Saturday Night Live (1998–2006) and for his role as Dr. Leo Spaceman on 30 Rock, he is also a prolific voice actor.

Early Life and Career Beginnings:
Parnell was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. His father, Jack Parnell, worked for over 40 years as a professional radio and television voice-over artist. Encouraged by his high school drama teacher, Parnell pursued acting seriously. He attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, earning a BFA in Drama. After college, Parnell moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s and joined the renowned comedy troupe The Groundlings, where he honed his improv and sketch comedy skills.

Television and Film Breakthrough:
Talent scouts spotted Parnell performing with The Groundlings, leading to his hiring as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in 1998. During his tenure (1998–2006), he became a reliable utility player on the show, delivering iconic impressions of figures like Eminem, George W. Bush, and Tom Brokaw. Parnell is also well known for his deadpan, straight-faced comedic work in films like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy alongside Will Ferrell.

Voice Acting Success:
Following his time on SNL, Parnell transitioned seamlessly into a highly successful voice acting career.
