Biography & Early Career:
Park initially pursued a pre-med track at Boston University before transferring to SUNY Binghamton to study theater. He launched his career in New York City as a stand-up comedian, bringing a unique, character-driven energy to the stage.

Breakthrough on TV:
Park made television history when he became the first Asian American cast member as a series regular on Fox’s hit sketch comedy show In Living Color (1991–1992 season). On the show, he spoofed well-known figures like Connie Chung and Yoko Ono. He also made memorable guest appearances on shows like Friends, Mad About You, and Boy Meets World.

Prominent Film Roles:
Park established a respected career playing distinctive, often eccentric supporting characters across critically acclaimed cinema. His notable filmography includes: Do the Right Thing (1989) as Sonny, Fargo (1996) as the awkward, beleaguered Mike Yanagita, Snowpiercer (2013) directed by Bong Joon-ho, The French Dispatch (2021) as Lieutenant Naufier, and Asteroid City (2023).
