Brief Biography:  Kevin Nealon is best known for his nine-year tenure on NBC's Saturday Night Live (1986–1995). Renowned for his deadpan delivery and iconic characters like "Subliminal Man" and "Hans and Franz," he later starred in the Showtime hit series Weeds and frequently tours as a stand-up comedian.

Early Life:
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 18, 1953, Nealon was raised in Connecticut. He graduated from Sacred Heart University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Though he initially gravitated toward music and playing guitar, he discovered a natural talent for stand-up comedy. He began performing in the late 1970s and honed his craft at the legendary Improv in Los Angeles.

Saturday Night Live:
Nealon made his network television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1984. In 1986, he joined Saturday Night Live, eventually becoming one of its longest-running and most recognizable cast members. He was famous for his signature character "The Subliminal Man," and the Schwarzenegger-inspired muscle duo "Hans and Franz" (partnered with Dana Carvey). He also anchored the Weekend Update news segment from 1991 to 1994. He earned an Emmy nomination in 1988 as part of the show's writing team.

Television and Film Success:
After leaving SNL, Nealon became a staple in comedies—especially those starring his close friend Adam Sandler. He featured in films like Happy Gilmore (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998), Little Nicky (2000), and Just Go with It (2011). From 2005 to 2012, he garnered widespread critical acclaim for his portrayal of the stoned accountant Doug Wilson in the Showtime series Weeds. He also starred in the CBS sitcom Man with a Plan.

Recent Projects:
A prolific touring stand-up, Nealon released his comedy special Loose in the Crotch. He expanded his reach into digital media with the popular celebrity-interview web series Hiking with Kevin. Beyond performing, Nealon served as an executive producer alongside his wife, Susan Yeagley, on the Oscar-nominated documentary Come See Me in the Good Light.
