Early Life and Career Beginnings:
Early Ambitions: As a young girl, Moreda initially intended to become a nun.
The Acting Bug: Her path shifted completely after she participated in a school play and fell in love with performing.
"La Gallega": Following high school, she aggressively pursued theater roles and local radio productions. In her early career, she frequently told people she was from Galicia, Spain, which earned her the lifelong nickname "La Gallega".

Television Pioneering and Comedy Career:
Historic Broadcast: On March 28, 1954, Moreda made history by performing in Puerto Rico’s very first televised program on WKAQ-TV Telemundo Canal 2. She starred in the televised comedy El Caso de la Mujer Asesinadita alongside legendary figures Mapy Cortés and Fernando Cortés.
Comedic Hits: Throughout the 1960s, she solidified her reputation as a top-tier comedian, starring in popular shows like Casos y cosas de casa (alongside Braulio Castillo and Lillian Hurst).
Mentorship: Highly respected in the industry, Moreda used her influence to support emerging talent. Notably, she introduced a young Eddie Miró—who would become one of Puerto Rico's most famous television hosts—to elite producer Tommy Muñiz, launching his career.

Personal Life and Legacy:
Moreda was an avid animal lover. While filming the telenovela La Gata, she became deeply attached to the cat on set. This inspired her to adopt a massive network of stray cats and dogs. In a humorous nod to her career, she famously named every single one of her pets after a famous celebrity.
