Brief Biography:  Howard Mann was a versatile American actor and comedian whose career spanned 40 years across television, film, and commercials. Best remembered for his prolific work as a character actor, he combined his early career in advertising with a successful trajectory in stand-up comedy.

Entertainment Career:
Stand-up & Stage: Mann started his comedic career as a stand-up comic and famously toured the United States with a one-man show portraying George Washington during the 1976 Bicentennial celebrations.
Television: He secured dozens of guest and recurring television credits. This included appearances on Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996), The West Wing, Pushing Daisies, and The Starter Wife.
Film: His notable film credits include Mel Brooks’s History of the World: Part I (1981) and the comedy Malibu's Most Wanted (2003).

Later Life and Legacy:
Beyond his performing credits, Mann was highly dedicated to sharing his craft. From 1996 onward, he taught comedy and acting classes at Santa Monica College.
