Brief Biography: Beth Littleford is best known as an original correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show (1996–2000). She is also recognized for her roles in Disney Channel's Dog with a Blog and I'm in the Band, as well as numerous film and voice acting projects.
Early Life and Career:
She is the daughter of a professor and a cardiologist. She grew up in Winter Park, Florida, and attended Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania before studying acting at New York University and graduating from The New School. Before making it to television, Littleford honed her comedic chops working in improvisational theatre with the Chicago City Limits group, founding a sketch comedy troupe, and writing her own one-woman show, This Is Where I Get Off.
The Daily Show and Breakthrough:
Littleford made history as the very first and sole female correspondent on the original incarnation of The Daily Show alongside Craig Kilborn. Her sharp, satirical reporting from 1996 to 2000 helped cement the show's format and earned her a Peabody Award in 2015 for her foundational contributions to the program.
