Brief Biography:  Phil LaMarr is best known for being an original cast member on the sketch comedy series MADtv, his memorable role as Marvin in the film Pulp Fiction, and an extensive voice-acting career starring in animated series like Samurai Jack, Futurama, and Justice League.

Early Life and Education:
Born in Los Angeles, California, Phillip Alan LaMarr developed an early interest in performance, landing his first acting role in a middle school play. While attending Harvard High School (now Harvard-Westlake School), he even voiced a character on the animated series Mister T. He went on to attend Yale University, where he majored in English and helped found the improvisational comedy group "Purple Crayon".

Comedy and Television:
After graduating from Yale in 1989, LaMarr honed his improv skills with the legendary sketch group The Groundlings. He later achieved mainstream success in 1995 as one of the nine original cast members of FOX's sketch comedy series MADtv, where he showcased his impressive range of impressions and created iconic recurring characters for five seasons. In live-action film, he is permanently etched into pop culture for his small but highly memorable role as the doomed Marvin in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 classic Pulp Fiction.
