Brief Biography:  Rich Hall is known for his deadpan style, character comedy, and extensive work in both the US and UK. Rising to fame in the 1980s via Fridays and Not Necessarily the News, he created "sniglets" and later won the 2000 Edinburgh Perrier Award with his alter-ego, Otis Lee Crenshaw.

Early Career and US Success:
He was a writer and performer for ABC's Fridays (1980–1982), a writer for Saturday Night Live (1984–1985), and a regular on Late Night with David Letterman.
Sniglets: He popularised "sniglets"—defined as words that should be in the dictionary but aren't—on HBO's Not Necessarily the News.

Move to the UK and Character Comedy:
