Brief Biography:  Neil Patrick Harris is known for his roles as the child prodigy in Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989–1993), the womanizer Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014), and his Tony-winning performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. A versatile performer, he has hosted the Tony and Emmy Awards, starred in films like Gone Girl, and is an accomplished stage actor and author.

Early Life and Career:
Child Star: Began acting in school, making his film debut in Clara's Heart (1988) with Whoopi Goldberg, earning a Golden Globe nomination.
