Brief Biography:  Patrick Harlan is best known as the "funny man" of the Japanese comedy duo Pack'n Mack'n.

Early Life and Education:
Education: Graduated from Harvard University in 1993 with a degree in the comparative study of religion.
Initial Visit to Japan: Came to Japan in 1993 on an Asian tour as a choirmaster for a Harvard a cappella group.

Career in Japan:
Harlan moved to Japan in 1993, initially teaching English conversation in Fukui Prefecture before moving to Tokyo in 1996 to pursue acting.
Comedy Duo (Pack'n Mack'n): Formed with Yoshida Makoto in 1997. They gained fame for their bilingual comedy, overcoming cultural and language barriers to become a popular fixture in Japanese entertainment.
Television and Media: Known as a TV personality, commentator, and host. He has appeared on NHK programs, such as Eigo de Shabera Night, and served as a news commentator.
