Brief Biography:  Kelsey Grammer is best known for his iconic two-decade portrayal of the psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the sitcoms Cheers and its spin-off Frasier. Beyond his signature role, he has achieved significant acclaim on Broadway, in film, and as the voice of Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons.

Early Life and Tragedies:
Grammer’s life was deeply impacted by profound family losses. His father was murdered in 1968, his sister was murdered in 1975, and his half-brothers died in a 1980 accident. Despite these hardships, he pursued acting, attending Juilliard before leaving to start his career. He recently honored his sister with a memoir, Karen: A Brother Remembers (2025).

Acting Career:
Theater: Started in regional theater and Broadway, including roles in Macbeth and Othello.
Television: Debuted as Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers in 1984, continuing the role in the spin-off Frasier (1993–2004, 2023–2024).
Voice Work: Well-known for voice acting, most notably as Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons.
