Early Life and Education:
Born to a Jewish family, the son of Debbie, who worked for a phone company, and Jay Eichner, a rent tax auditor.
Education: Graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1996 and Northwestern University in 2000 with a BA in Theater.
Early Career: Before his breakout, he was a regular performer at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and created/starred in the stage show Creation Nation: A Live Talk Show.

Career Highlights:
Billy on the Street (2011–Present): A game show where Eichner surprises pedestrians in New York City with pop-culture questions. The show originally aired on Fuse TV before moving to truTV and collaborating with Funny or Die.
