He began his career in the late 1980s, hosting the New York children’s show Steampipe Alley from 1988 to 1993, where he included pop-culture innuendo for adults.

Cantone is a seasoned stand-up comedian known for his rapid-fire delivery and impersonations of celebrities such as Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Bruce Springsteen, and Jim Morrison.
