Thomas Jacob "Jack" Black is an American actor, comedian, and musician widely recognized for his high-energy comedic performances and his role as the lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning rock duo Tenacious D.
Early Life and Education:
His mother notably worked on the Hubble Space Telescope and the Apollo lunar module guidance system.
Upbringing: Raised in Hermosa Beach, he attended Hebrew school and had a bar mitzvah. His parents divorced when he was 10, a period during which he has admitted to struggling with substance abuse.
