Brief Biography:  Sandy Baron was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer known for his roles in Seinfeld (as Jack Klompus), Broadway Danny Rose, and numerous Broadway performances. Born in New York, he was a fixture on 1970s talk shows and continued acting until his death from emphysema in California.

Early Life and Career:
Stage Career: Began his career on Broadway in Tchin-Tchin (1962) and later starred as Lenny Bruce in the show "Lenny" at Hollywood's Aquarius Theater in 1972.
Television: Starred in the 1966 series Hey, Landlord and made regular appearances on The Mike Douglas Show and The Merv Griffin Show.

Notable Roles:
Seinfeld: Played Jack Klompus, the frequent nemesis of Jerry Seinfeld's father, in several episodes.
Film: Appeared as himself in Woody Allen's Broadway Danny Rose (1984) and in his final film, The Hi-Lo Country (1998).
Other TV: Replaced Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster in the TV movie The Munsters' Scary Little Christmas (1996).
