Brief Biography:  Dan Aykroyd is a Canadian actor, comedian, screenwriter, and musician, renowned as an original Saturday Night Live cast member and creator of Ghostbusters. Known for his work with John Belushi, including The Blues Brothers, he earned an Oscar nomination for Driving Miss Daisy.

Early Life and Career:
Education: Studied criminology and sociology at Carleton University before dropping out to pursue comedy.
Second City: Began performing with the Second City troupe in Toronto and Chicago in 1973.

Saturday Night Live and Film Success:
SNL: Joined Saturday Night Live in its first season (1975) as part of the original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players," quickly gaining recognition for his impressions.
