Brief Biography:  Danny Arnold was an acclaimed American television producer, writer, comedian, and actor, best known for creating the hit sitcom Barney Miller. A former Marine and vaudeville performer, he won two Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award for his work, significantly influencing television comedy through his, at times, high-pressure, dedicated producing style.
